    On Friday the 4th March, representatives from seven churches of Rockhampton joined together at St Joseph’s Cathedral to celebrate the World Day of Prayer.

    On Sunday 27 February, the Rite of Election for catechumens from the Rockhampton parishes took place at Holy Family Church, Rockonia Parish, with Bishop Michael McCarthy presiding.

    Briona McKone was a large-hearted, passionate, competent, humble woman.  She cared for her husband and sons with a deep intense faith. She also served the Capricorn coast Parish for ten years as secretary. She was taken from us far too soon.
