    Over the past month I finished the Confirmation program for the year with visits to Clermont, Moranbah , Longreach, Barcaldine and Blackall.  It’s so wonderful to have our young people going through the Sacraments and I’m very grateful to the Sacramental teams, including the school staff, who prepare our young people so well to receive the Sacraments.

    At the centenary celebrations on Saturday 16 October, Ron Armstrong (Assistant Principal: Boarding – The Cathedral College) welcomed the Sisters and invited guests to Genazzano’s large recreation room, attractively decorated with old photographs and memorabilia by the creative staff of Girls’ Boarding.

  • Men Alive in the Diocese

    In October our diocese was privileged to host two ‘Men Alive’ parish weekends, one in Calliope on the 13th & 14th of October, and another one in Emerald on the 30th & 31st of October. The weekends were led by presenters from Brisbane who worked together with local leaders to plan and run the events.

    Rockhampton Mercy Associates members gathered in late September 2021 to celebrate Mass, share a morning tea followed by a presentation by Sr Beryl Amedee rsm on the historical development of the Mercy Associates, particularly in the Diocese of Rockhampton
