The Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton is committed to safeguarding, with a specific focus on children and adults at risk.  We hold the belief that all, especially children, young people and adults-at-risk are a gift from God with an intrinsic right to dignity of life, respect and security from physical and emotional harm. They are to be treasured, nurtured and safeguarded by all.

To the Victims & Survivors of Abuse

The Diocese of Rockhampton acknowledges the past failures of the Catholic Church to protect children and adults-at-risk, and the lifelong trauma of abuse victims, survivors and their families.

The Diocese of Rockhampton has zero tolerance for all forms of abuse and endeavours to safeguard all involved in its ministries and services. The safety and wellbeing of children and adults-at-risk is paramount in all our work and efforts.
