Fr Neil Muir, rector of Holy Spirit Seminary, was invited to Bundaberg on the 6th & 7th October to speak to the Parish Stewardship Council and parishioners on “Understanding Synodality and Synodality in the Local Faith Community”. We celebrated Relay for Life, the Ladies Dinner and a wonderful celebration by our Indian community.
One weekend in November, families gathered at Star of the Sea Church for a memorable Family Fun Day. The day began with a touching Mass at 8am, uniting everyone in prayer.
Our guest speakers were Chris Junge and Jared Raffael from the Mater Private Hospital Mackay.
In recent weeks, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish has been abuzz with a variety of events – Christmas Fete, a wedding and multicultural Mass to name a few.
The multicultural Mass at Sacred Heart, Yeppoon,was a highlight of a busy month in our parish. The parishioners at Mary Immaculate, Emu Park, are enjoying their new carpet.
