    Fr Matthew Moloney was in Blackall for the wedding of St Brendan’s Old Boy Carl Hauff and Lisa Alexander.  It was a great gathering of family and friends, with many Brendan’s Old boys coming for the celebration.

    This month, Bishop Michael and Leesa Jeffcoat joined with the community of Marist College, Emerald to celebrate the feast day of their namesake, St Marcellin Champagnat. Welcomed by the Principal Mark Green, Bishop Michael presided over the College’s morning Mass for the feast day of their namesake, St Marcellin Champagnat.

  • News from Gladstone

    What a joy to witness 98 candidates from across all Gladstone parish mass centres participate in the sacrament and receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. A huge week for Bishop Michael, Fr. Andrew and the sacramental team.

  • St Joseph’s North Mackay

    The children who registered on the Sacramental Process in 2019 finished their Initiation of the Sacraments on the weekend 8th / 9th May when they received their First Eucharist.

    It has become a tradition in our parish to present the women of the parish with Corsages on Mather’s Day.  This year Tess Beard and Cecily Pickett and their team produced a beautiful variety of arrangements with which to all women, those who were mothers and those who served by their caring lives.
