13 December, 20222022 Community Christmas Fair at St Joseph the Worker Parish
The Annual Christmas Fair was held at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Grounds on Friday 25 November. The Fair has been part of our Parish for over 40 years.
This year’s Christmas Fair Coordinator Judy Naumann said “ that this was one of most successful fairs in recent years with many young families in attendance.”
The Trulander Petting Zoo was a big hit with all the young families. The ham wheel was a big draw card with 40 winners on the night. The Asian food stall and our rib fillet burgers went down a treat. The choc throw, the knockems, loop the bottle and the footy throw were popular old style kids Activities. Facepainting, glitter tattoos and Christmas craft added to the colour and fun for the night, but the home-made cakes and lollies stall was the favourite.
Santa Claus dropped in for his annual visit with many families doing DIY photos with Santa.
Karen and Dave Logan provided the entertainment for the night. They were joined this year by a new young band Jam N Butter.
A Weber Q 2022 Barbeque donated by Coalfields Bridgestone Tyres and $50 cash were the major drawcards for the Multi Draw which had a total of 110 prizes thanks to local businesses and parishioners.
