News from Moranbah

In October St Joseph the Worker Parish, Moranbah celebrated the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Eucharist with a number of our young parishioners. Bishop Michael confirmed the children.
Our community was also blessed last weekend to receive Michelle Blythe into full communion with us. Michelle was baptised Anglican and received the sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Eucharist in our midst. We have been blessed to have Michelle as a member of our community for the last while. Alas, she is moving back to Brisbane to accept a teaching post.
Our Christmas Fair was also held – for the first time this year on a Sunday. Our ham wheel was a very popular attraction, along with good old fashioned games like loop the chocolate and the bottle stall.
Our community wishes everyone in the Diocese a very holy Christmas and a happy and joy-filled 2022.
