What is Ignite Conference?

Ignite Conference is an annual Catholic youth conference held in Brisbane and run by Ignite Youth. It’s a four-day event featuring real-world formation, encouragement in faith, great people and powerful worship. The program includes huge rallies, live music, relevant talks and workshops, dramas, dance, prayer and sacraments.

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet new friends, find out more about the Catholic faith, and experience church in a completely new way. Many of the young people who have attended Ignite Conference previously have found it the highlight of their year and an experience that impacted their life for the better. Details for 2026

Ignite Conference is taking place from the 24th to the 27th of September at St Laurence’s College. The conference is open to people of all ages, however only high school students will be able to travel and stay with our diocesan group. Families and young adults can register themselves separately by purchasing a general registration at https://app.tickets.org.au/iy/IC26BNE, but will need to organise their own transport and accommodation.

Transport will be provided with pick-ups and drop-offs taking place at Rockhampton, Benaraby, and Bundaberg. This year we will again be staying at YHA Brisbane and will have our our diocesan NET team travelling and staying with our group.

How to Register

To register with our group:

  1. Go to https://app.tickets.org.au/iy/IC26BNE
  2. Enter the code ROKHigh in the coupon code field. The code is not case sensitive.
  3. Select the number of our diocesan tickets that you want. Our ticket is called: Diocese of Rockhampton – Ignite High
  4. Then click on the green ‘Register’ button at the bottom of the page
  5. Fill out the details including sibling discount if registering multiple siblings (see below).
  6. Then click on the green ‘Place Order’ button.

Please note: After you enter the coupon code it will reveal our group ticket but will still show the general tickets as well. Every year some families accidentally select the general ticket after putting in our coupon code. The ticket needs start with Diocese of Rockhampton and should be $400. If you purchase a different ticket then our diocese will not be notified and you will not be guaranteed a seat on our bus or a room at our accommodation. If you have already registered separately then please get in touch at youth@rok.catholic.net.au or 0433 897 973 and I can still have you included in our group.

Due to limitations with accommodation and transport, our group tickets are strictly limited to 24 high school students so register ASAP to make sure that you don’t miss out. Late fees will apply from September the 12th onwards.

Cost

Registration with our group is $400. This includes the earlybird Ignite Conference price of $320 (which we have locked in until September 12h) and an additional $80 to help cover transport and accommodation costs. The actual cost of travel and accommodation is around $250 per person, but this is subsidised by the diocese. Participants will also need to bring funds with them to be able to purchase meals while travelling to and from the conference.

Families sending multiple siblings can use the discount code ‘family’ followed by the number of siblings attending e.g. ‘family2’ or ‘family3’ as shown below. This code should be applied to each sibling attending.
