Success at St Brendan’s 2023 Rodeo

16 September, 2023

St Brendan’s College pulled off an incredible rodeo weekend, and we couldn’t be happier with the results!

With a whopping 5000 plus attendees, our annual rodeo was a roaring success. As Australia’s only school-based rodeo, we brought all the action with a full day of rodeo thrills, family fun, and heartfelt tributes, featuring over 400 competitors from the Australian Professional Rodeo Association.

Our students achieved the following outcomes at this year’s St Brendan’s College Rodeo, where we paid special tribute to the dedicated parent and avid College rodeo supporter, Geoff O’Connor, by dedicating our buckles in his honour:

SBC Geoff O’Connor Memorial Junior Steer
1. Reece Lahiff, | 2. Callum Gittens | 3. Mac Hayley | 4. Dusty Lonergam

SBC Geoff O’Connor Memorial Senior Steer
1. Sam Daley | 2. Jesse Remfrey | 3. Mac Hayley | 4. Caylen O’Dell

SBC Geoff O’Connor Memorial Junior Bull

During the professional rodeo, other achievements included:
