St Ursula’s 1000 Hearts

St Ursula’s College, Yeppoon, will spread kindness and compassion across the globe as part of their latest project, 1000 Hearts.
A kindness project that commenced in Hobart in 2016, 1000 Hearts involves the creation of 1000 pocket-sized felt hearts, hand-stitched together and distributed to share a ‘thinking of you’ style message of compassion and love.
The College’s HeadStart Committee volunteers truly embraced the College’s 2021 theme, ‘When Compassion meets action, lives change’ and set to work recently on making the 1000 Hearts.
Once complete, students will attach a message of hope and inspiration to each heart, and send them on to Presentation School students in Papua New Guinea, India, and beyond.
