Australia Day Award from the North Burnett Council
Our St Therese’ Monto parish and school community received an Australia Day Award from North Burnett local council. This prestigious award was for our St Therese’s Christmas Fair which was declared as the winner of the Monto Community Event 2021. Sarah Avis received this on behalf of the committee and community at the rescheduled Australian Day Award ceremony held at Mt Perry on 5th March 2021. Special thanks to all who made it happen.
Valleys Youth Group formed
The recently formed young adult group playing some sports as part of the program during their first gathering of the year on 22nd Feb 2022.
Table Tennis Group
Weekly table tennis is now going on in Biloela. We agree with the saying that ‘all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’, so we gather on Thursdays by 7pm and sometimes by 1pm on Sunday to play after having prayed. All are welcome.
