Confirmation
Five children recently received the Sacrament of Confirmation at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish, Springsure. The children had prepared very well and were excited to receive this Sacrament. Unfortunately, Bishop Michael was unable to attend due to illness but Fr Francois did a wonderful job as his ‘stand-in’! It was a very heart-warming and joyous ceremony.
Parish Centenary 2025
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish which has had churches dedicated to St Malachy’s, St Joseph’s and St Mary’s will celebrate 100 years in 2025. As yet, a date has not been confirmed but we look forward to the celebration when Bishop Michael is able to join us. Watch this space!
