On Saturday 2nd March in Gladstone, the Mercy Associate’s, led by the Network Queensland facilitator Margaret Trevethan, commissioned their newest member. Margaret Watson who, inspired by Catherine McAuley, committed herself to being a Associate of the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea for an initial period of three years.
On behalf of the Sisters of Mercy Sr Berneice Loch rsm witnessed Margaret’s commissioning.
