Mass at Ubobo
Families and young adults camp at the Discovery Centre campsite in Ubobo was a Gladstone parish event which was organised by Alana Lanzon from Calliope. The camp included campfire marshmallows, a rail trail walk, women’s prayer & breathwork session, sports, men’s happy hour, outdoor movie, campfire rosary and ended with Sunday Mass at Ubobo. There were 58 camping (20 adults and 38 children) including a few families who travelled down from Rockhampton. There were about 80 at Mass, which is the biggest turnout to the Ubobo church in living memory.
