News from Emerald

16 August, 2024

During Catholic Education Week St Patrick’s Parish, Emerald was the recipient of the generosity of students from Marist College and St Brigid’s Primary School.

The Manual Arts students from Marist College volunteered their time and talents to repair the damaged brick fence in front of the parish office and church. A big thank you to these students, Principal Mark Green and teachers Greg Pullen and Gerard Brennan. The fence looks fantastic and we very much appreciate your skills and effort.

Students from St Brigid’s held a jelly and cupcakes sale on “Mission Monday” and had a green and gold free dress day for the start of the Olympics on “Fun Friday” raising funds for St Patrick’s Church. The sale of jelly cups and cupcakes raised $602.75. Thank you students,  Principal Tegan Green and APRE, Meaghan Tucker.
