Fr François celebrated the marriage of Thomas Barron to Ashleigh Casey on July 2nd. Thomas is the son of Ricky and Trudy Barron and Ashleigh the daughter of Greg and Katrina Casey. The wedding party included Andrew Barron, Bestman and Amanda Modolo, Maid-of-Honour and Groomsmen, Michael Preston and Mark Johnson and Bridesmaids, Ana Freeman and Ellen Herrod.

The Requiem Mass for John Crossan was held at St Patrick’s Catholic Church on Friday, 1st July. Mr Crossan was a well known member of the Emerald business and farming community. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, children Andrea and Peter and grandchildren.
