Our Mass on Migrant and Refugee Sunday was enriched when we celebrated in our different languages. The readings and the Prayer of the Faithful were prayed in each language – Italian, Solomon Islander, Filipino and Indian. There was a cacophony of voices as the Lord’s Prayer was prayed in all the different languages.

After Mass, all stayed back and shared a dish from each particular country.

It was a happy occasion on Saturday 8th October when five children from our parish were confirmed by Bishop Michael and received Holy Communion. Afterwards the children cut their special cake and we all came together to share a delicious meal.
