To commence a busy week Mass was celebrated at the property of Bernard and Marie Cook on Monday 25th October.
Wednesday found us welcoming Bishop Michael to our parish for Confirmation and Eucharist. Nineteen children were confirmed. After the ceremony a shared meal was available for those families that wished to stay. The next day Bishop Michael visited St Joseph’s School before heading over to Moranbah where once again he celebrated the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.
On Sunday 31st October St Mary’s parish hosted the Ecumenical Service which is held on the fifth Sunday of the month. After the service the people stayed back for a chat and a cuppa.
