19 October, 2021

Excitement was palatable among the students of St Joseph’s Clermont as they fund raised during Term 2 for Childhood Cancer Support. Even more exciting was the thought of a pizza party for the class that raised the most money. All this culminated on the last day of Term 3 with a ‘Talk like a Pirate Day’ when the whole school dressed up like pirates. Prizes were handed out for the best pirate costume in each class and at the last session of the day fun activities were held. The most popular being teachers having to walk the plank.  Final total raised was $8 770.00.

The class that raised the most money was Prep. They really enjoyed their pizza party!!

All this happened because a student in Prep was diagnosed with Cancer.
