Visitation Ministers

The regular monthly meeting and formation is well attended by the parishioners who minister to our sick, the housebound and those in Nursing Homes. Those being visited are most appreciative of the regular visit.

ALPHA

The program has reached its hallway point. Group-sharing follows the input, and everyone has both a listening heart and ear.
The ALPHA Retreat was held on Saturday, March 8 and the NET team’s assistance with the input was a welcome feature.

Monthly Anointing Mass

After the Mass the CWL provides morning tea for all. Students from our Parish school wait on the attendees.

Rite of Election

Some of our catechumens journeyed to St Joseph’s Cathedral last Sunday to participate in the Rite of Election. It’s a key moment in their faith lives as they are formally elected by Bishop Michael to move forward towards receiving their Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and First Holy Communion this Easter. Their ‘pilgrimage’ to Rockhampton is especially significant for our Elect during this Jubilee Year when we are all called to be pilgrims of Hope. Two, who couldn’t be in Rockhampton on Sunday will be celebrating their Rite of Election this weekend. We continue to pray for all our Elect as they move closer to Easter.
