Containers for Change for Woorabinda

The Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton and Catholic Education are collaborating to raise much needed funds for the Woorabinda Ministry. Each month a Catholic school within the Diocese will participate by donating containers to support Sr Cecilia in the Woorabinda Ministry. This month The Cathedral College will kick start this initiative and donate a month’s worth of containers to the Woorabinda Ministry, Account number C11132635. We applaud The Cathedral College for their efforts and thank them for supporting such a worthy cause.
Woorabinda as a whole is financially needy, the future of St Martin de Porres Church & Presbytery and Sr Cecila’s mission, is dependent on financial assistance. It is a aging community with very needy vulnerable constituents many who have mental issues such as depression & drug issues due to substance abuse. Your school’s donation would help improve the quality of life of these beneficiaries on an ongoing basis as it would ensure the longevity of the safe haven Sr Cecilia has created whereby she counsel’s and nurtures locals in need.
