Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ
The August e-newsletter records another month in the life of the diocese. From Mackay, the 100-year foundation celebrations of St John’s School at Walkerston and St Mary’s, South Mackay gathered these communities to make incredible achievements. In 2025, St Anne’s Sarina will also mark this milestone of Catholic Education in the Mackay region. This coming weekend, we turn our attention to the annual Social Justice Statement, A Call for Peace. At the end of August there will be the gathering of the Catholic Women’s League members from across Queensland in Mackay for their annual meeting.
My thanks for all of those who have contributed to this newsletter.
During September I will be on my annual holidays and I look forward to catching up with you when I return.
