Western Flood Appeal

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ
Over these past few days, the news has been reporting of the extensive flooding in western Queensland, including communities within our Diocese. In many cases, the flooding has caused widespread devastation and heavy stock loss.
This weekend, I invite our diocesan family to look out for and support our people in the west and I invite you to assist with a contribution through a special appeal.
The contributions will be channelled through the local St Vincent de Paul conferences to assist those who are in need because of this natural disaster.
I thank you for your generosity in supporting our people in need at this time.
