Sacramental Resource Coordination – Short Term Role

The Diocesan Sacramental Working Party works together to animate the Sacraments of Initiation policy for the Diocese of Rockhampton. The group works with Bishop Michael to provide advice and support to sacramental preparation teams throughout the diocese, ensuring that children and young people in our region have the opportunity to engage in programs which are engaging, inspiring, and which invite them to enter more fully into a relationship with Jesus and into the life of the Catholic Church. The group is seeking a suitable individual to undertake a paid, short-term project, to develop resources, aligned to policy, which parishes could utilise for the preparation process. Ideally, the successful applicant will have knowledge of sacramental preparation and have a contemporary understanding of both theology and pedagogy.
