Bishop Michael pays tribute to Fr Rod Dela Rosa SVD (RIP)

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Yesterday morning, Monday 11th October, I received the sad news that Father Rod Dela Rosa SVD passed away.
Father Rod, as you know, was a priest here for 10 years and administered in various parishes of the Diocese. Father Rod died of COVID while on home leave in the Philippines.
Let us remember Father Rod in our prayers and his brothers of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) Fathers.
As your Bishop, I would encourage you to receive your vaccination, which is being made available by the government. I have completed the two doses of vaccine and will make myself available for booster shots when they become available.
