Yet another initiative from St Ursula’s Headstart group

The members of the Headstart group of St Ursula’s College have come up with yet another sensitive initiative to help the needy through the local St Vincent de Paul group. This group fundraises within the College and uses the funds to provide various needs. The latest is bedroom and bathroom start-up packs for people moving into accommodation. Sheets, towels, quilts, pillows – all new – are just some of the practical items. The group delivered their packs to the Sacred Heart St Vincent de Paul Centre where they were accepted by Vicki McCosker and Mark Kennedy.
Mark said the following day two packs went out to people. They were delighted and moved to have such lovely items. We all love a clean sheet – they were even more pleased to have news sheets.
