St Brendan’s walk against Domestic Violence

18 May, 2023

Last week, we celebrated Edmund Rice Feast Day with mass before the St Brendan’s College community came together to walk in unity and stand against domestic violence. This annual walk aligns with our touchstones of inclusive community and justice and solidarity.

As an Edmund Rice school, we are committed to promoting a culture of respect, inclusivity, and social justice. We want to send a clear message that domestic violence will not be tolerated, and that everyone deserves to feel safe and respected in their homes and relationships.

Well done to all our students and staff who came out in their purple ‘’Not Now Not Ever” shirts, creating a sea of purple that symbolizes our commitment to ending domestic violence. Your commitment to this cause will inspire others to be more just, inclusive, and to be inspired by the values and spirit of Edmund Rice and our touchstones.
