With the clouds of ill health, the time has come for dedicated St Brigid’s Parish, Longreach parishioners Neil & Coring Fraser to move closer to family. Along with many others, their enthusiasm and willingness to work in service of the Parish and the broader Catholic Church has been vital during the last few tumultuous years. Chair of PPC, RPC representative, morning tea coordinator, lay presider, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, Longreach Churches Together representative, office assistant, cleaner, COVID warden, mission and outreach enthusiast, the list is endless. These people were willing to spend their limited time and finances thinking about, encouraging, supporting and ‘doing’ what is needed to maintain and grow the Catholic Church. There are now some big shoes to fill.
