This past month saw a changing of the guard amongst the priests of the parish. Fr Ashwin, who has been so lively and creative in his ministry here, is moving to the Rockhampton parishes. Fr Peter, recently ordained, has come amongst us for a few years to learn the ways of being a diocesan priest from Fr Andrew and the local parishioners. We farewelled Fr Ashwin in a number of events but especially a parish dinner. We welcome Fr Peter and pray that together we may grow in the ways of God.
