Fr Matthew Moloney was in Blackall for the wedding of St Brendan’s Old Boy Carl Hauff and Lisa Alexander. It was a great gathering of family and friends, with many Brendan’s Old Boys coming for the celebration.
He also celebrated Pentecost Mass with the St Patrick’s Parish Community of Blackall.
Reconciliation Week at St Joseph’s School, Blackall
St Joseph’s Blackall celebrated Reconciliation Week with a prayer service followed by art workshops with Indigenous artist, Deadly Arthur. Deadly Arthur created Toddy Turtle pictures with all students at school and has then spent a few days with us creating Indigenous artworks and games on different areas throughout the school. We were also fortunate enough to have a Q & A session with Deadly Arthur and a painting demonstration on Assembly.
