Confirmations in Mackay

Celebration of Confirmation was held at St Joseph’s Church on Thursday 26th May 6pm, Friday 27th May 5pm and 7pm. Many children received the Sacrament of Confirmation after many months of preparation. Bishop Michael Confirmed all the children, with the support of Fr Stephen, Fr James and the Sacramental Team. The Ceremonies were well attended and very uplifting. Was great to get to this point after two longs years of COVID which has placed many challenges on the Sacramental Process.
This year was the first time in over two years we could have Celebration cake for the Children after the ceremonies, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Congratulations to all the children and their families.
