Shirley Hopkins continues to Fundraise
Thanks to the phenomenal fundraising efforts of Shirley Hopkins (pictured left) the Cathedral continues to receive fundraising money from Drake’s IGA during COVID-19.
For many years now Shirley Hopkins has worked hard on a completely voluntary basis to maintain the fundraising partnership with St Joseph’s Cathedral and Drakes Supermarkets to deliver much needed maintenance and upkeep support through the keytag program. When shoppers use a special keytag at Drakes Supermarkets a portion of every sale goes directly to St Joseph’s Cathedral.
This month, Shirley received another cheque for $1,506 for St Joseph’s Cathedral. That takes our total up to $46,362!
This is an unbelievable gift for our Cathedral thanks to the incredible assistance of Shirley and those who support her in the background. Thank you to Shirley and her team for your incredible generosity towards our Parish, our Cathedral and our Diocese.
