Beatification of Pauline Jaricot in Lyon, France on 22 May 2022

Pauline was the founder of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith in 1822, the first of the pontifical mission societies. 2022 also marks the 200th anniversary of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, which in Australia is known as Catholic Mission. Still today a worldwide network of lay missionaries and church leaders are working together with communities most in need.
