Welcome to the booking form for the Rockhampton Diocesan NET team

Our team consists of 5 dedicated young adults from who have committed a year of their lives to serve and minister in our diocese. The team receives training, supervision and support from NET Ministries who have almost 40 years of experience ministering to young people in schools and parishes around Australia and New Zealand. You can find out more about the members of our team by viewing their team profile.

The classic NET experience involves offering retreats that can run from 3 to 8 hours, where a topic is introduced then explored through activities, multi-medias, presentations and discussion, and finally the team leads young people into a time of prayer and reflection. The team’s ministry is very flexible though, and can adapt to many different contexts, timings or types of events, some of which are listed below. Additionally, our team can contribute to larger events by facilitating games, activities, discussion groups, presentations, music, liturgies, or prayer experiences. The cornerstone of the team’s ministry is their authentic witness of young people who are passionate about their faith. This means that any situation where the team can interact with students or young people is an opportunity to share their faith and have a positive impact.

If you already have an idea of what kind of event you would like to book the team for then please go ahead and use the booking form below. If you would like to discuss how you can best use the team in your context then contact Mick Otto at youth@rok.catholic.net.au or 0433 897 973. Staff from CEDR schools can also contact Kellie Jenkinson to discuss how the team could be best utilised in your school.

The team will be here in our diocese from February to November in 2025. In 2026 a new team will arrive so bookings can be made for 2026 as well.
