St Ursula’s College, Yeppoon, concluded Term 3 with their annual Walk for PNG event on Thursday 12 September. The combined efforts of fundraising in the lead up to the walk raised in excess of $2,500. Local Presentation Associates organised a very successful multi-draw raffle, the College’s Book Week sales profits were donated to the cause, and a diligent group of volunteers spent lunchtimes selling merchandise such as friendship bracelets. The total was also boosted by donations from an R U Ok? Day sausage sizzle and cake stall in the courtyard just prior to the walk.
Many thanks to all those who worked behind the scenes to raise funds and awareness in support of the Presentation Mission in Papua New Guinea.
