Another Successful Rodeo at St Brendan’s

St Brendan’s College celebrated another successful rodeo over the Father’s Day weekend. This tradition, which began in 1977, continues to thrive, drawing in crowds and fostering a sense of community.

The event is particularly special as it brings many old boys back to the college, strengthening the bonds within the old boy network. A standout moment of the event was the grand entry, featuring both the current rodeo club and the old boys. This highlight underscored the strong connections within the college’s network, with Aaron Leahy, an old boy himself, playing a pivotal role in organizing this year’s rodeo.

SBC Year 12 Rural Ops Legacy Project

Our Year 12 Rural Ops class has left a lasting legacy by putting up the last two caps and carving their year, 2024, into one of them, thanks to Mr Oram. These boys have worked incredibly hard, cutting timber, standing posts, and fitting rails. They even made both gates from scratch!
