Welcomed 2022 with the commissioning of the new Parish Pastoral council. After a promotional campaign across parish at end of last year the parish received an overwhelming response of nominations and now we begin our work as team for 2022 with a team of 8 new members.
First Youth Event for the year was a preparation for Lent: Pancakes
Pancakes races, a thoughtful talk about how to prepare for Lent with solid weaponry, a brief practice of Stations of the Cross and epic rock paper scissors began the SOS Youth events for 2022.
Study on our Faith
Star of the Sea parishioners have been invited to participate in a 6-week study into the origins of our Catholic faith and the Fathers of our Church. Run by the Adult formation team, we are entering week 3 of the sessions which so far have been an inspiring and informing journey in grounding the Faith.
