News from Emerald

RCIA began again in Emerald in October with three wonderful ladies who have been very diligent in attending weekly meetings. We are journeying this year with two candidates and one catechumen. As well this year we have welcomed Steve & Helen Lunn on to our RCIA team and they have been a wonderful aid to discussions each week. Last week we gathered together for a shared meal with Father Truc and Father Francois to celebrate Advent together and to mark the holiday season from weekly meetings until mid-January . Hopefully we will all get to St Joseph’s Cathedral on 9th March and meet with other RCIA “travellers” from throughout the Diocese as we draw closer to the Easter celebrations.
