Bereavement Team Morning Tea.
Members of the Bereavement Team including Funeral Assistants and Sacristans attended a delightful Morning Tea in gratitude for another year of wonderful service to our parishioners at one of the more difficult times in their lives as they grieve departed loved ones.
The members bring comfort and compassion as they help parishioners prepare the obsequies for family members.
We are grateful to them all.
Parish Thank You evening
Many of our parishioners who serve in our ministries attended this simple Thank You function at the Parish Office.
Fr Don expressed his thanks to all and particularly thanked Sylvia Brienl, Gemma Fordham, Jan Davidson, Frank and Kath Gambley, Grace Lim, and Joe McCorley, who have taken a step back in ministry or who have moved from our Parish.
Bundaberg Pageant of Lights
Thanks to the hard work of a few volunteers, the Parish renewed its involvement in this community event.
It was a well-attended evening along the main street of Bundaberg with more than seventy community groups involved.
Thank you to Robert Doyle, Phil Gilchrist, Vince Habermann, Pauline Merefield and Carmen Wyatt who organised our entry in the Pageant.
Thanks to the families who walked and to the children who were involved.
Rite of Acceptance.
On Sunday, December 8, we welcomed four of our RCIA candidates at the Rite of Acceptance.
We look forward to their continued journey with us over the coming months.
