Calling for Memories of St Mary’s School, North Rockhampton

In 2025, a commemorative magazine will be published to celebrate the first 125 years (1900-2024) of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School. This will combine a focus on current schooling and events, as well as reflecting on the past – highlighting how the school community and grounds have grown and changed throughout this time.
As part of this, we are looking for historical information to be included in sections such as ‘Memories’, ‘Success Stories’ and ’Family Stories’ involving multi-generational families that have attended our school. We are hoping the community can rally together to bring some wonderful stories to light, both past and present including photos.
If you have memories, stories and/or photos to share, please complete this submission form online – 125 Year Memories and Contributions Submission Form. Paper copies of the Submission form are also available at St Mary’s School office.
The due date for submissions is the end of Term 4, 6 December 2024.
If you have any photos, we’d love to see them too. Photos can be scanned then emailed to SMNR_125Years@rok.catholic.edu.au or can be brought into the St Mary’s School office to be scanned. These photos will form part of our displays during the celebrations next year.
All photos, memories and stories provided must be accompanied by a signed submission form to comply with privacy requirements when printing any materials provided. A permission form is required to be signed for any person/s included in the material submitted.
