Bishop Michael’s Letter

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Welcome to our many readers of the latest edition of the Bishop’s e-newsletter for the Diocese through which we keep in contact with the beating heart of our local church.
We were sad to hear of the passing of Ernie Trevaskis who with Barbara, his wife, were an integral part of the AICC of this Diocese. Emeritus Bishop Brian and friends from our diocesan family joined the farewell service for Ernie.
The Bundaberg Catholic Community and Shalom College farewelled their beloved Br ‘Rocky’. Br Rocky taught at Shalom for many years and in these past few years, he was a great presence in Bundaberg and in the College.
We extend our prayerful support to the families of two students of St Brendan’s who recently passed away. Our condolences also to Mr Rob Corboy and the community of the College.
